    Lovely mother-to-be

    Half Tamworth, half Berkshire, Loretta came the farm as a first time mom.

    She turned out to be friendly and calm, but surprisingly quick on her feet for a pregnant lady. We also learned that she loves to graze on rich spring grass.

    We gave her a prime shed and field close to the barn, where we could keep an eye on her. We even set up a "piglet-cam" so we could watch at night.

    We always heard that piglets were cute. Well take a look at this little bundle only 18 hours old!
